Open to all young people aged 18 to 26 years old, with Associated members aged 26 to 34.

Valley will be expanding this year by starting a Rover Crew. Although the Rover Crew is required to be registered as a seperate group, Valley Venturers and Valley Rovers will still be affiliated and under the same name. It it still under the planning stages at the moment, but we are taking names of those interested.

Valley Rovers is responsible for its own programme and administration. It is similar to other self-managed adult organisations, but within the rules of the Scout Organisation. We operate as a separate Scout Group, under the direction of a Crew Leader and Assistant Crew Leader. These are warranted positions in the Scout Association and are elected annually by the Rover Crew along with other positions that are required for the crew to operate.

Rovers wear the same uniform as other sections and they:

• Provide service to the Scout Movement
• Provide service to the community
• Develop as individuals by expanding personal skills
• Enjoy fellowship, social, out door personal skills and cultural activities
