Velocity
Velocity is the weekend to end all weekends if you are involved in Venturers. Especially important for all the new kids on the block, VELOCITY aims to give all venturers a sense of direction and understand things like the award scheme, program planning, recruiting new mates and even how to cook eggs. Venturers from as far afield as Auckland and Canterbury are planning on attending so if you want to be a part of something special then you better get cracking.
The full weekend costs venturers $50 and leaders wishing to attend must pay $30. This covers all course costs, accommodation, food etc. You just need to get your wonderful selves registered by filling out the form available below and returning it by the 9th of May.

Cost: $50

Cooksey
Cooksey is a corner stone of the Gold Venturer award and can only be completed after attending the Velocity course. Unlike Velocity, Cooksey can be completed in one day, and is a must attend for anyone on or thinking about being on the unit exec.
