Welcome to the official Valley Venturers & Rovers website!


Venturers is the section of Scouting for 14-19 year olds. Valley Venturers meet every Wednesday night during school terms at Belmont Hall where we do some awesome and extreme activities ranging from our Distraction/Fear Factor night through to our Consumer Issues night or even our Extreme Sports night (check out our photo gallery). We also go tramping, go on many awesome camps, and hang out with other Venturers from all over the lower North Island (all the way up to Napier and the Hawkes Bay)!

Please register to gain access to all our members features including our forums, downloads & games. Membership is open to anyone, not just Valley members. If you have any problems registering, email admin@valleyventurers.org.nz.

What's happening:I hear 'jingle bells' !It's Christmas time! A Christmas celebration in the middle of the year. Lights and decorations will fill the room and the festive spirit will fill us all with Christmas cheer. We will have a Christmas tree to decorate and Christmas games and activities to keep us out of mischief. We have even heard that Santa may be coming to town (So be good, for goodness sake).
What to bring: If you want to participate in our Mid Christmas celebrations you will need to bring:

  • A cheap present (max of $3)
  • Food for our Christmas desert. eg Christmas cake or muffins etc
  • A Santa hat if you have one
  • Christmas decorations so we can decorate our tree
